Ariel Kusby is a writer based in Portland, Oregon. Her poems, stories, and reviews have appeared or are forthcoming in Entropy, The Adroit Journal, Bone Bouquet, SUSAN / The Journal, Bodega Magazine, Hunger Mountain, and Pom Pom Lit Magamongst others. She has written articles for Portland Monthly, Garden Collage, and Luna Luna Magazine. Ariel works as a bookseller in the children’s room at Powell’s City of Books, and is the managing editor for Deep Overstock: the Booksellers’ Journal. Her children’s book, The Little Witch’s Book of Spells, is forthcoming from Chronicle Books in Fall 2020.
